"Hello Senator _______, I hope you received our Save Our Wild Horses postcards and letters.  I am calling to ask you to ensure our wild horses are given their rightful protections under the Wild & Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971 in the form of Herd Management Area Plans, that the abusive & cruel roundups via helicopters that cause life threatening injuries and deaths to the horses will stop happening, and that our domestic & wild horses are protected from being shipped to slaughter in the US and over our borders to other countries.  Thank you." ​​
